Day 01
Arrival at Cochin

Arrival at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station. Drive towards Munnar, a 4-hour drive. En route stop by to see the waterfalls and natural picnic spots. Check into the hotel after reaching and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Spend the night in Munnar. Munnar is located at a height of 1600 meters where three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale merge. A majestic hill station, Munnar was the summer retreat for the British in South India.

Day 02
Local sightseeing Munnar

Relish a sumptuous breakfast and spend the rest of the day local sightseeing to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo point. Head towards Rajamalai in the afternoon to see the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars". Spend the night at Munnar.

Day 03
Head towards Kumarakom

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and head towards Kumarakom, which is a 5-hour drive. Kumarakom is a small backwater hamlet nestled on the Vembanadu Lake. Check in at the hotel and thereafter, start with the local sightseeing. Indulge in boating or canoeing in this backwater paradise. Spend the night at Kumarakom.

Departure Plan
